Sudan is exporting about 14% of the world peanuts production, and is considered as the forth country in the world exporting peanuts after the USA. Also Sudan is measured as the greatest producer of the crop in Arabian and African globe. The general specifications of the Sudanese peanuts as follow:

  • Kernel Sizes: 247 ~ 282\100g (70/80), 176 ~ 212\100g (50/60)
  • In-Shell Sizes: (9/11), (11/13)
  • Color: Red, Pink
  • Aflatoxin: Free
  • Damages and Splits: Maximum 3%
  • Oil Content: Minimum 47%
  • Foreign Matter: Maximum 5%
  • Humidity: Maximum 5%

Packing is done in 50 KG jute bags or 25 KG PP bags, and the kernel type is exported in 20 feet containers which will carry 17 metric tons. The inshell is packed in 40 feet containers which will carry 18 metric tons.

Packing in Plastic Bags or Gute Bags, 20ft containers takes 18MT, 40ft takes 26MT.
